What you will do

• Oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and manage engineering teams to ensure best practices from planning through deployment.
• Define and analyze KPIs and metrics to measure internal success and productivity.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to allocate resources and manage expectations for roadmap objectives.
• Hire, evaluate, and coach team members and leaders to foster professional growth and accountability.
• Develop and improve engineering processes to maximize consistency and departmental outcomes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to recommend product and architectural improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience managing and coaching direct reports in Agile/Scrum and matrixed environments.
• Proven track record of engineering commercially viable enterprise SaaS applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, infrastructure, and containerization.
• Must be based in the US.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as required.
