What you will do
- Facilitate and document architectural decisions, assessing risks and tradeoffs.
- Ensure the adoption of secure SDLC, data privacy, and SOC2 best practices.
- Mentor the engineering team and promote a culture of continuous technical learning.
- Collaborate with other Technical Leads and SREs to improve the overall engineering area.
- Coordinate high-impact deployments and proactively communicate blockers to stakeholders.
- Partner with the Engineering Manager on hiring and training initiatives to expand team capacity.
Requirements
- Must be based in Argentina (open to Buenos Aires office or remote).
- 12+ years of experience shipping high-quality software, with 5+ years in technical leadership.
- Expertise in modern JS frameworks (Vue.js, React) and backend languages (PHP, Python, Golang, Node.js).
- Strong knowledge of relational and document databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and API design.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1) for oral and written communication.
- Proficiency in quality practices including unit, integration, E2E, and performance testing.
Nice to have
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Zend, or Symfony.
- Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with engineering prompting, MCPs, and AI agents.
- Knowledge of functional programming.
