What you will do

• Facilitate and document architectural decisions, assessing risks and tradeoffs.
• Ensure the adoption of secure SDLC, data privacy, and SOC2 best practices.
• Mentor the engineering team and promote a culture of continuous technical learning.
• Collaborate with other Technical Leads and SREs to improve the overall engineering area.
• Coordinate high-impact deployments and proactively communicate blockers to stakeholders.
• Partner with the Engineering Manager on hiring and training initiatives to expand team capacity.

Requirements

• Must be based in Argentina (open to Buenos Aires office or remote).
• 12+ years of experience shipping high-quality software, with 5+ years in technical leadership.
• Expertise in modern JS frameworks (Vue.js, React) and backend languages (PHP, Python, Golang, Node.js).
• Strong knowledge of relational and document databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and API design.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) for oral and written communication.
• Proficiency in quality practices including unit, integration, E2E, and performance testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Zend, or Symfony.
• Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with engineering prompting, MCPs, and AI agents.
• Knowledge of functional programming.
