TL;DR

Fullstack PHP Developer (Event Tech): Design, develop and deliver high quality code to production within short cycles for an AI-powered event platform with an accent on PHP 7/8, Zend Framework 1, jQuery and MySQL/MariaDB. Location: Remote (Florianópolis, Argentina, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo preferred; fully remote from anywhere in the world)

What you will do

• Design, develop and deliver high quality code to production within short development cycles.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and cross-functional teams to devise optimal engineering solutions.
• Travel to conferences and events for client support when possible.

Requirements

• MS/BS or equivalent in Computer Science and +2 years work experience.
• Minimum 2 years developing web applications using PHP 7/8, Zend Framework 1 (or fork), jQuery, MySQL/MariaDB.
• Fluent in English; any other language appreciated.
• Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to anticipate and resolve problems, optimistic and calm under pressure, motivation to excel in autonomous environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with conference and event management.
• Ability to write and understand complex SQL queries.
• Competent in managing a Linux server.
• Experience with OAUTH, REST API, Atlassian Jira, Atlassian BitBucket.
