What you will do

• Implement standard sourcing processes for beef, pork, poultry, and seafood.
• Lead direct negotiations with current suppliers and identify new partners to meet customer requirements.
• Define and document product specifications, yield charts, and cost inputs.
• Develop risk management strategies and optimize raw material and logistic efficiencies.
• Manage supplier relationships through quarterly business reviews and performance scorecards.
• Collaborate with Business Development and operations teams to enhance the protein solutions pipeline and drive growth.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA; no work sponsorship is available for this role.
• Prior supply chain experience in the protein industry.
• Strong background in procurement, supplier relations, and strategic sourcing.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Commodity Intel platforms.
• Experience in inventory management and forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Meat Science or Supply Chain Management preferred.
