What you will do

• Lead the calculation and planning of the Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL) under CECL and IFRS 9 standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for audit and regulatory reviews regarding impairment provisioning.
• Refine the methodological framework to ensure data-driven, transparent, and fully documented processes.
• Design and operate key financial controls supporting a COSO-compliant impairment process in partnership with IT.
• Lead the CECL/IFRS 9 Governance Committee, presenting results and recording formal approvals.
• Support financial reporting by providing data and narratives for MD&A, 10-K, and S-1 filings.

Requirements

• English: Advanced proficiency (C1+) required.
• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or FRM preferred).
• Deep technical expertise and hands-on experience with IFRS 9 and CECL (ASC 326).
• Proven experience managing Allowance for Credit Losses within banking or fintech.
• Success leading complex audit engagements, preferably with PCAOB experience.
• Understanding of the COSO framework.
