What you will do

• Process daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly general accounting transactions including intercompany, cost, inventory, and GL records.
• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP, SEC guidelines, and company policies.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts in Blackline.
• Maintain SOX controls and keep local accounting books updated.
• Coordinate and follow up on accounting records for royalties, fixed assets, and expense accounts.
• Assist with internal, external, and SOX audit requests and provide supporting details to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle or Navision.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Must be based in Mexico.
