TL;DR

Enterprise Risk Manager (Fintech): Developing and maintaining enterprise risk management processes, standards, and governance for hirify.global’s European expansion with an accent on regulatory compliance and risk appetite frameworks. Focus on leading risk identification, materiality assessments, and fostering a strong risk culture across the organization.

Location: Must be based in Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid: 2-3 days a week in office).

Salary: €68,000 - €83,000 + Incentive Awards.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with first-line teams to embed enterprise risk management activities across the organization.
  • Coordinate and maintain the Risk Appetite Framework and Statement for the EU entity.
  • Lead the enterprise risk identification and materiality assessment process refresh.
  • Execute risk horizon scanning and emerging risk assessments to proactively identify future risks.
  • Maintain the EU Risk Taxonomy, risk register, and impact matrix.
  • Support executive governance committees and provide secretariat support for regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in risk management within financial services in heavily regulated environments.
  • Strong knowledge of European risk regulatory requirements (CBI, EBA, ECB/SSM, Basel).
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) tools, frameworks, and governance processes.
  • Deep understanding of digital banking products, operations, and associated risks.
  • Excellent analytical, relationship management, and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Must be eligible to work in Ireland and meet Fitness and Probity Standards as a Controlled Function (CF-2).
