What you will do

• Own vision and roadmap for Data Platform, Governance, and Architecture, aligning with business goals.
• Design and improve scalable, secure data platform supporting diverse workloads.
• Build, mentor, and manage high-performing data engineering teams.
• Define and enforce data governance policies, ensuring compliance with GDPR, LGPD, CCPA.
• Guide technical architecture across ingestion, processing, and serving layers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and AI leaders on strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering, 3+ years in people management.
• Experience leading data teams in platform, governance, or architecture.
• Deep knowledge of GCP (Azure/AWS a plus), distributed systems, data pipelines, ELT/ETL.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, governance frameworks, compliance.
• Track record influencing stakeholders and delivering measurable outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with data mesh or federated architecture.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted data workflows.
