What you will do
- Design manufacturing processes, production layouts, and procedures for assemblies, equipment, machining, and material handling.
- Optimize facility layouts and equipment for efficiency, safety, and productivity.
- Develop automation from concept to deployment, transitioning manual processes to automated systems.
- Build automation roadmaps with cross-functional teams aligned to value stream priorities.
- Evaluate equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions using SPC and continuous improvement.
- Ensure processes comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards while providing guidance for manufacturability.
Requirements
- Onsite in Eatontown, NJ 5 days/week.
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required; no sponsorship below Principal level.
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 2 years related experience (or Advanced degree).
- Experience in manufacturing processes, equipment adaptation, and production optimization.
- Ability to define operations sequences and incorporate inspection/testing into plans.
- Knowledge of statistical process control and continuous improvement techniques.
Nice to have
- Experience in regulated industries like medical devices, pharma, or aerospace.
- Hands-on automation, robotics, or PLC systems diagnosis/repair.
- SPC, Lean, Six Sigma methodologies.
- CAD/SolidWorks proficiency.
- GMP, FDA, ISO regulatory knowledge.
