What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced manufacturing processes and production systems for new and existing product lines.
• Drive automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives to enable smart, data-driven manufacturing and operational agility.
• Lead high-impact kaizen events, root cause investigations (RCA), and implementation of corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Optimize production line layouts and material flow using Lean methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead capital project initiatives, including equipment selection, procurement, commissioning, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Ensure all processes and equipment meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards including ISO, UL, and OSHA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally in complex electromechanical environments.
• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Standard Work, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Proficiency with CAD software, ERP systems, and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Hands-on experience with automation systems, robotics, PLCs, or machine vision.
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Jacksonville, Florida.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or advanced technical certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt).
• Experience with digital manufacturing tools and data analytics.
