What you will do

• Cultivate and empower the design team through hiring, mentorship, culture-building, and processes for AI-first products.
• Own design strategy and execution during transition to autonomous operational intelligence.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to position Loop as leading AI post-purchase platform for commerce.
• Lead design vision for AI autonomous decisions in returns, shipping, and policy recommendations, ensuring legibility and trustworthiness.
• Design patterns for explainability, translating system decisions into plain-language rationales for merchants and shoppers.
• Act as voice of merchant trust, providing design insights to enhance confidence in AI-driven operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Product and UX Design experience, with exposure to AI-powered or agent-driven products
• 5+ years of design team leadership and management, ideally through major product shifts
• Experience designing B2B products, admin interfaces, merchant dashboards, and customer-facing resolution flows
• E-commerce or fintech experience highly valued for high-stakes transactional trust
• Experience in AI explainability, autonomous systems, or trust architecture as strong differentiator
