What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of full-stack engineers through hiring, coaching, and career development.
• Stay hands-on technically by reviewing code, debugging issues, and shipping features.
• Own end-to-end outcomes by defining roadmaps, setting metrics, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Drive pace and focus with strong shipping cadence, 80/20 thinking, and quick iteration based on experiments.
• Remove obstacles for the team and cross-functional partners, including escalating or coding solutions.
• Work with game studio partners on their needs and improve tools and APIs.
• Collaborate with product, design, data science, and other engineering teams on shared commerce primitives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience as a hands-on IC building production systems.
• 2+ years of engineering management or technical leadership on user-facing products.
• Strong familiarity with Python, TypeScript/React, and React Native for code review and reasoning.
• Product sense to collaborate with PMs and designers, push back, and shape features.
• Comfort with ambiguity, experimentation, A/B tests, and changing direction based on results.
• Track record of growing engineers with actionable feedback and high-leverage roles.
• Ownership mentality to resolve blockers, drive decisions, and ensure team accountability.

• Experience with game development or game platform ecosystems.
