What you will do

• Design and develop novel multimodal AI models for immersive audio-visual content creation and rendering.
• Integrate deep learning with perceptually grounded approaches, including signal processing and human perception metrics.
• Build and evaluate prototypes using both objective metrics and human perceptual assessments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate fundamental research into production-ready solutions.
• Contribute to the innovation pipeline through professional publications and patents.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry research experience.
• Research background in multimodal AI, generative AI, computer vision, or audio-visual analysis.
• Demonstrated impact via publications or patents in top-tier venues such as NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, CVPR, or ICCV.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ with hands-on experience building ML systems.
• Must be based in or able to work from the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with perceptual quality metrics (objective and subjective) for video and audio.
• Experience with real-time or production-scale media systems.
• Knowledge of model compression, optimization, and deployment of deep learning models.
