What you will do

• Implement and maintain quality systems, focusing on TS16949 and ISO 14001 certifications.
• Coordinate supplier quality metrics, including preventative/corrective actions and PPAPs for customer programs.
• Support the Advanced Product Quality Process (APQP/PPAP).
• Manage customer complaints, rejects, and perform 8D Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the local plant and external quality system auditing bodies.
• Oversee process capability studies, quality audits, and coordinate the tasks of Quality Engineers and Technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology preferred.
• 5 or more years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Quality System tools such as DOE, FMEA, PPAP, GR&R, QFD, SPC, and CPK.
• Understanding of Lean Principles and thorough knowledge of process engineering principles.
• Statistical training and computer proficiency in a Windows environment utilizing Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• ASQ or equivalent Quality Certifications.
• CMM and related Metrology skills.
