TL;DR

Salary: $5,000 - $9,500 per month (Gross USD)

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and engineering teams to enhance financial software solutions.
  • Design and build features in Golang, reports and automations in Python/SQL.
  • Develop scalable solutions in distributed architecture, ensuring consistency and high performance.
  • Evaluate tools, deploy processes, and collect metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor engineers, provide support on systems, and ensure compliance with standards.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years full-stack software engineering experience
  • Experience building REST APIs with Go, Java, or Python
  • BS in Accounting, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL
  • Experience with observability tools like Prometheus/NewRelic/Datadog

Nice to have

  • Prior experience as accountant or financial analyst
  • Understanding of financial operations: reconciliation, reporting, compliance
  • Experience in banking/financial institutions
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes on AWS, containerized microservices
  • History of delivering commercial APIs and web apps
