TL;DR

Organizational Design and Development Consultant II (HR): Build and maintain consistent, scalable job architecture by creating and standardizing job descriptions across the enterprise with an accent on skills framework integration and career leveling alignment. Focus on translating organizational data into structured documentation, validating with stakeholders, and automating processes using generative AI tools.

Location: Fort Worth, TX or Arlington, TX, United States (Hybrid, 2 days a week in office). We are unable to consider candidates who require visa sponsorship for this position.

What you will do

  • Develop and standardize job descriptions using GMF’s templated structure, integrating level-appropriate responsibilities and skills.
  • Identify and align core/functional skills from Lightcast library, building skill progression content across career bands.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, leaders, and experts to validate job content, leveling, and requirements.
  • Create generative AI prompts and use tools like Microsoft Copilot to automate job description drafting and scaling processes.
  • Support refinement and finalization stages through stakeholder reviews.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in Human Resources with background in organizational design, talent capability, performance, succession, analytics, or change management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Understanding of job architecture, career leveling models, and skills taxonomies (e.g., Lightcast).
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and written communication skills for HR/OD content.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience in HR consulting, job description development, or supporting Total Rewards processes.
  • Familiarity with competency models or job leveling methodologies.
