What you will do

• Own delivery of reconciliation controls to meet Financial Control Framework objectives and ensure timely GL and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Drive efficiency and automation in reconciliation processes, partnering with Finance Systems to optimize ReconNet and automated match rates.
• Act as subject-matter expert, providing guidance on queries, month-end reviews, and escalation of risks across teams.
• Lead performance oversight, KPI reviews, incident management, and resolution of reconciliation breaks.
• Develop team capability through training, knowledge sharing, UAT testing, and building relationships with leadership and partners.

Requirements

• Ability to simplify complex issues and prepare resolution plans.
• Ability to map end-to-end processes.
• Strong numeric skills and ability to process large volumes of data.
• Knowledge of clearing bank processes including BACS, Faster Payments, Direct Debits, and Debit Cards.
• Detailed knowledge of Bank & Cash Book reconciliation processes.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SUN General Ledger and ReconNet applications.
• Detailed knowledge of ReconNet build and configuration.
