Vendor Management Program Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote in Mexico

Salary: $5,000–$6,500 USD gross per month as a contractor

What you will do

• Establish and maintain third-party risk standards and governance with IT, Legal, and Compliance.
• Conduct vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoring, including consumer-impact risk, complaints, privacy, and data protection reviews.
• Maintain vendor and data processor inventories, risk documentation, reporting, onboarding and offboarding reviews.
• Assess vendor criticality and inherent risks related to PII, BSA/AML, and credit decisioning.
• Coordinate with Legal on contracts and Information Security on third-party technical safeguards.
• Track and escalate risk events and performance failures to senior leadership and bank partners.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in vendor risk management, procurement, or third-party compliance.
• Experience with third-party risk management lifecycles and regulatory frameworks including PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GLBA, and BSA/AML.
• Experience managing high-volume vendor assessments and maintaining audit readiness for banks and regulators.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or equivalent practical experience.
• Required experience with Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
