Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States or Canada). Preference for candidates located in the Dallas Fort Worth area or near the Richardson, Texas office.

Salary: $17.10 – $28.75 per hour (depending on location)

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to build and improve manufacturing analytics solutions.
• Support data collection, ingestion, and integration of production metrics, quality indicators, and yield.
• Analyze test data and develop dashboards to track KPIs such as throughput and First Pass Yield (FPY).
• Perform root-cause trend analysis and communicate findings through visual summaries.
• Implement AI/ML-driven analytics for anomaly detection and predictive indicators.
• Evaluate supplier Industry 4.0 readiness using scoring models and data-driven maturity assessments.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or test data (MES, test logs, quality systems).
• Ability to work full-time for the complete summer break (May-August or June-September).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience with JIRA, Power BI, or Snowflake.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts such as classification, clustering, or anomaly detection.
• Personal interest or coursework in smart manufacturing and industrial data systems.
• Experience with surveys or basic data analysis for academic projects.
