Sr. BI Engineer

What you will do

• Create and maintain data sources, reports, and dashboards with high visual appeal, accuracy, and performance.
• Analyze and address data/performance issues, fix Sisense dashboards and embedded code.
• Coordinate with Product, Application Development, DBAs, and other teams to identify needs and build visualizations.
• Manage analytical/operational dashboards, KPIs, and repeatable reports for internal/external users.
• Act as first-line support for Sisense issues and provide training sessions.
• Proactively enhance reporting, build data sources for self-service, trend analysis, and operational metrics.

Requirements

• 5+ years SQL experience (read/understand complex code, explore data structures).
• 3+ years major BI tool experience (Sisense/Tableau/Power BI), advanced calculations/visualizations, troubleshooting.
• 2+ years Python scripting/development.
• Willingness to learn/master Sisense development.
• Familiarity with server-based reporting (publishing, scheduling, permissions).
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, organizational skills in dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sisense development.
• Familiarity with web development (CSS, HTML, Javascript).
• Experience leading insight/analysis projects.
• Knowledge of dashboard performance optimization.
