What you will do

• Develop and execute the HSE strategy and sustainability agenda across UK&I sites.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and drive behavioral change across all organizational levels.
• Ensure legal compliance and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
• Oversee accident reporting, investigations, and lead HSE audits across sites.
• Provide expert guidance to leadership and collaborate with external regulators and certification bodies.
• Lead, coach, and develop the UK HSE team.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Preston
• Chartered HSE professional (e.g., IOSH) with a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior HSE leadership role, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Demonstrated experience in sustainability reporting and initiatives.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to influence at the executive level.

Nice to have

• Degree in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH Environmental qualification.
