What you will do

• Lead construction for multiple utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects across the UK.
• Manage the construction department, overseeing Project and Site Managers.
• Coordinate across engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, and HSE functions.
• Monitor timelines, identify risks, and implement mitigation actions to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to QHSE standards.
• Report progress, risks, and key milestones to senior management and investors.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in renewable energy construction, specifically utility-scale solar and BESS.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale solar projects through to energisation.
• Must be based in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of EPC delivery models, contractor management, and HSE/QA/QC standards.
• Experience managing multi-site construction across concurrent projects.
• Ability to interpret technical construction documentation and execution plans.
