TL;DR

Senior Finance Business Partner (Finance): Shaping the strategic direction and driving commercial success for the New Business team with an accent on financial discipline and the delivery of the Medium-Term Plan. Focus on developing KPIs, optimizing forecasting processes, and providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders.

Location: Nottingham or Solihull (Hybrid), 2 days a week onsite required

What you will do

  • Develop key performance indicators and use financial data to identify risks and opportunities to drive business performance.
  • Collaborate with teams to establish structured forecasting processes aligning with EIS and Group planning requirements.
  • Provide real-time analysis and value-add insights to the New Business team for informed decision-making.
  • Manage strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the B2B business and the EIS leadership team.
  • Identify and implement efficiency and automation opportunities within reporting and planning processes.
  • Support the development of investment cases, business planning, and ensure robust governance and controls.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with membership in a recognized professional body (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in finance business partnering with a strong understanding of commercial operations.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and a track record of initiating and driving change.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to Nottingham or Solihull for hybrid work.
