What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of backend data and analytics platforms, including services, metrics, and pipelines.
• Manage, hire, and develop engineers through coaching and career support.
• Partner with product and stakeholders to define the technical roadmap for analytics applications.
• Establish technical direction and quality standards for craftsmanship, observability, and performance.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize team processes to accelerate delivery and execution quality.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience in object-oriented languages such as Go, Java, or C#.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineers and providing technical direction.
• Proficiency with data platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Databricks, DynamoDB) and AWS tooling.
• Experience building and scaling resilient backend services using agile practices.
• Must be based in any of the 50 United States.
