Senior Performance Analyst (Investment Management)

TL;DR

Senior Performance Analyst (Investment Management): Own the calculation, validation, governance, and oversight of investment performance across global products with an accent on GIPS compliance, regulatory reporting, and complex performance analysis. Focus on interpreting trends, resolving anomalies, developing automation, and collaborating with portfolio managers, risk, and technology teams.

Location: Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire (hybrid: at least four full days per week in office)

What you will do

• Own accurate and timely delivery of performance calculations across asset classes and client mandates
• Interpret performance results, trends, and KPIs, providing expert insights to stakeholders
• Investigate anomalies, resolve complex issues, and act as escalation point
• Maintain data quality, controls, and auditability; partner with Technology and Data teams on enhancements
• Ensure compliance with GIPS standards and regulatory requirements; support audits
• Produce high-quality reporting, develop dashboards and automation, and drive process improvements
• Act as key performance contact for global stakeholders and promote best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience in performance measurement or related asset management functions
• Strong understanding of investment products, performance methodologies, KPIs, and investment accounting
• Experience with GIPS standards and regulatory or audit environments
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail
• Independent, proactive mindset with sound judgment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Technical capability (e.g. SQL; Power BI or Tableau)
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent
• CIPM or CFA highly desirable
