TL;DR

Senior Analyst - Corporate Actions (Fintech): Executing end-to-end processing of corporate action and dividend events within a fast-paced investment environment with an accent on regulatory compliance and accuracy. Focus on managing event lifecycles across UK and international markets while ensuring adherence to CASS and MiFID standards.

Location: Hybrid – Manchester (3 days on site per week, 2 days remote)

Salary: £32,000-£36,000

What you will do

  • Manage the end-to-end corporate action event lifecycle for capital and income events across UK and international markets.
  • Analyze market announcements from data vendors and create system events compliant with CASS, CRS, and MiFID.
  • Distribute event notifications to customers and accurately process client elections by deadlines.
  • Handle IPO events, proxy voting, and Accelerated Book Builds, including out-of-hours processing.
  • Coordinate with external counterparties and internal departments to ensure timely settlement of market claims.
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities and assist with system testing and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate actions or dividend role.
  • Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex legal, tax, and market data.
  • Full understanding of FCA rules, including CASS, MiFID, and Consumer Duty.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple detailed tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester for hybrid work.

Nice to have

  • Degree in Business or Finance related discipline.
  • Level 3 IOC (CISI) qualification.
