What you will do

• Lead the development of the safety case for the Driver Out system.
• Define functional safety concepts based on UL4600 and ISO 26262 standards.
• Manage and execute the safety plan to align with product launch schedules.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and suppliers to achieve safety goals.
• Create and review critical safety work products including HARA, FSC, TSC, FTA, and FMEA.
• Plan and coordinate safety confirmation measures such as audits and assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a highly technical field.
• 7+ years of related work experience.
• Proficiency in safety frameworks: HARA, FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, and DFA.
• Experience with requirements capture and safety metrics definition.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical safety concepts to non-experts.
• Location: Must be based in Ann Arbor, MI.
