QA Engineer (Cypress/Playwright)

Fully remote from Latin America, 9 AM–6 PM EST working hours.

What you will do

• Build and maintain Cypress/Playwright automated test suites and regression coverage
• Design and execute test strategies, cases, manual/exploratory testing, and edge cases
• Collaborate with engineers on PR reviews, unit/integration coverage, and bug tracking
• Own QA processes, contribute to test strategy, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and stakeholders to enhance coverage
• Monitor CI pipelines, triage failures, and document critical workflows

Requirements

• 3+ years QA experience in web application testing (manual + automation)
• Strong experience with integration, regression, black-box, exploratory testing types
• API testing (Postman, REST Assured)
• Hands-on with Cypress and Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Strong understanding of Ruby on Rails codebases for reading/debugging
• Test strategy design, CI/CD workflows, Git, Jira/TestRail
• Analytical/problem-solving skills, excellent communication/documentation
