What you will do

• Collaborate with blockchain engineering teams in an agile, remote environment.
• Design, implement, and execute manual and automated test suites.
• Perform API testing and validation.
• Validate blockchain transaction lifecycles.
• Investigate and troubleshoot system behavior.
• Take ownership of testing tasks within sprint cycles and actively participate in agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong emphasis on backend and API testing.
• Experience working in fintech or other regulated environments.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and HTTP-based services.
• Proficiency using API testing tools such as Postman, curl, or similar.
• Hands-on experience testing microservices or distributed systems.
• Experience implementing test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including transactions, wallets, and smart contracts.
• Experience using block explorers and testnets during testing.
• Experience working with JIRA or similar issue-tracking tools.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues.
• Ownership mindset and ability to work independently in a remote engineering environment.
• Comfort leveraging AI-assisted development and testing tools to improve productivity and quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ethereum and smart contract tooling such as Solidity, Hardhat, or Foundry.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience testing blockchain infrastructure, smart contracts, or Web3 platforms.
