What you will do

• Create and execute comprehensive manual test cases for complex web applications.
• Perform thorough API testing using Postman, validating status codes, payloads, and error handling.
• Write and execute SQL queries for database validation to ensure backend data aligns with the UI.
• Identify, document, and track software defects within Jira with detailed logs and reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with Automation Test Engineers to identify high-priority cases for automation.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in manual software testing specifically for web platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and proficiency in writing SQL queries.
• Expertise using Jira for bug tracking and Azure DevOps for managing work items.
• Deep understanding of the SDLC and testing methodologies (Functional, Integration, Regression).
• Proven experience working within Scrum or Kanban teams.

Nice to have

• Basic comfort with Kubernetes for checking pod status or logs during debugging.
• Ability to read basic automation scripts in Azure DevOps to understand test coverage.
• Proficiency in using browser developer tools to troubleshoot network issues or console errors.
