TL;DR
Implementation Engineer (Fintech): Implementing Q2’s eBanking Solutions to align with customer business requirements with an accent on configuration across multiple platforms and client interfacing. Focus on developing quality assurance checkpoints, problem-solving complex issues, leading training plans, and ensuring on-time delivery.
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid, performed out of Implementations Solution Center). Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. No visa sponsorship.

What you will do
- Partner with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and direct configuration.
- Develop and perform QA checkpoints to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Take ownership of business results by leading training and execution plans.
- Monitor key metrics, problem-solve issues, and provide Level 2/3 support.
- Create tools to increase quality, security, and productivity.
- Track implementation status and collaborate with Development for client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of experience.
- Strong MS SQL skills: DB design, T-SQL for enterprise software configuration, installation, debugging.
- OS, hardware configuration, network troubleshooting (packet analysis valued).
- Configuration and deployment with Web Services.
- Experience with Python and scripting languages.
- Fluent written and oral English communication.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and training ability.
Nice to have
- HTML knowledge.
- Data migration experience.
- VMware experience.
- Familiarity with iOS and Android platforms.
- Financial services or enterprise software experience.
