TL;DR

IOC Analyst (Fintech): Monitoring and responding to service availability and performance alerts for digital banking systems with an accent on incident triage and infrastructure stability. Focus on identifying threats, managing incident lifecycles, and maintaining operational runbooks in a 24/7 environment.

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid). Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Monitor and analyze logs and alerts across multiple platforms to identify and mitigate service availability incidents.
  • Utilize network security tools to analyze infrastructure threats and execute containment or escalation.
  • Document troubleshooting results and provide regular status updates to impacted customers.
  • Identify and escalate critical impacts to on-call teams while maintaining operational runbooks.
  • Manage case workloads and perform daily operational checklists within a 24/7 support environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Prior operations background, such as experience working in a NOC or as a system administrator.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration (IIS, Connectivity, DNS, Active Directory).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and virtualized environments.
  • Familiarity with incident, change, and problem management principles.
  • Fluent written and oral communication in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with PagerDuty, LogicMonitor, Splunk, or Salesforce.
  • Experience with automation tools and procedures.
