TL;DR

Commercial Finance Controller (FMCG): Leading financial planning, insights, and P&L management for the UK, Ireland, and Nordics markets with an accent on revenue growth drivers and EBIT performance. Location: Hybrid in Richmond, United Kingdom (average 3 days a week in office)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per year

What you will do

  • Lead planning and control cycles, including month-end close, budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, and the 3-year business plan for UK&I and Nordics.
  • Partner with Country Managers and Sales leads to drive revenue growth through pricing, promotions, and product mix optimization.
  • Analyze customer and portfolio profitability to steer contribution margins towards targets.
  • Monitor financial and non-financial KPIs and translate variances into root-cause analyses and business cases for leadership.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making by implementing BI and planning tools across the markets.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of commercial finance experience within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record in Business Control or Commercial Finance with direct P&L ownership.
  • Experience partnering with senior commercial stakeholders in international or multi-market setups.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear commercial direction.
  • Proficiency in English and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Jedox.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to the Richmond office on average 3 days a week.
