Quality Control Inspector

What you will do

• Perform inspections throughout the production cycle, including receiving, in-process, and final inspection before shipment.
• Verify conformance to engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and applicable UL standards.
• Generate nonconformance reports, gather evidence, and support MRB disposition activities.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints relating to product quality or workmanship.
• Develop statistical tracking of QC issues and contribute to process improvements to reduce defects and rework.
• Provide technical feedback to production, engineering, and test teams and coordinate inspection activities to support workflow.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or production environments.
• Associate's degree in engineering, science, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, metal fabrication knowledge, ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Technical capacity, problem-solving, analytical ability, strong computer skills (inspection software, ERP, MS Office).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail.
• Physical ability: 90% walking/standing, lift up to 50 lbs, bend, squat, climb, access tight spaces, read fine prints.
