Accounts Payable Specialist (Manufacturing)

Accounts Payable Specialist (Finance): Performing basic accounting functions including invoice processing, reconciliation, and voucher allocation for a multi-site industrial manufacturing system with an accent on GAAP compliance and ERP efficiency. Focus on optimizing cash flow management, resolving vendor discrepancies, and supporting month-end/year-end financial closures.

Location: 100% on-site in Jacksonville, Florida. Not available for California residents.

What you will do

• Review vendor invoices, match them to purchase orders and packing slips, and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile and post accounts payable batches and voucher utility and freight invoices.
• Process expense reports for field service jobs and reconcile weekly UPS billings.
• Manage AP document uploads to electronic filing systems and print authorized checks.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes and assist with various audits.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to facilitate financial transactions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of administrative support experience in accounting within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and their application in AP.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Infor SyteLine, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Experience in cash flow management and payment forecasting.
