What you will do

• Design and implement a high-performance trading platform to ensure efficient execution of large trade sizes with minimal slippage.
• Build market data pipelines and integrate with multiple trading venues using REST/WS, FIX, and other protocols.
• Collaborate with quant and trading teams to develop and implement new trading strategies and execution logic.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of high-quality engineering and technical excellence.
• Optimize system architectures for fault tolerance, high availability, and low-latency execution.
• Apply modern software development best practices, including TDD, BDD, CI/CD, and SOLID principles.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in trading technology within Investment Banks, Trading firms, Exchanges, or Market Makers.
• Track record of building trading infrastructure from the ground up (feed handlers, algo engines, execution platforms).
• Deep expertise in software engineering fundamentals, including SOLID, TDD, BDD, and CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, trading mechanisms, and security protocols across multiple venues.
• Hands-on experience with centralized crypto exchanges (CEXs) and instruments such as perpetual swaps and deliverable futures.
• Must reside outside of the USA.
