What you will do

• Manage and grow a team of engineers, partnering with Product, Compliance/Legal, and Analytics to drive delivery through technical decision-making and operational discipline.
• Develop deep understanding of ETL pipeline system design and upstream data dependencies.
• Own key metrics like accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and incident rates; lead cross-org initiatives to improve pipeline quality and reliability.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of team systems.
• Partner with product managers to design best-in-class systems and processes for collections and loan repayment lifecycle.
• Build relationships with senior management and diverse engineering teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years as software engineer with leadership responsibilities and 2+ years as engineering manager
• Experience growing and managing high-performing engineering teams
• Fluency in backend system design
• Experience architecting, building, launching, and maintaining consumer-scale products
• Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills
• Drive to improve consumer financial services
