Salary: $230,000 - $270,000 USD (Zone 1: New York, NY)

• Lead team in building and scaling social interactions, content feeds, and user discovery features
• Set technical direction aligned with product strategy, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability
• Partner with design, product, data, ML, and safety teams to shape social experiences
• Drive architectural decisions and promote high-quality code and engineering processes
• Foster collaborative team environment for growth, ownership, and high performance
• Support engineers via hiring, onboarding, feedback, and career development

Requirements

• 7+ years professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years engineering management leading product-focused teams
• Strong foundation in consumer-facing products at scale, full-stack experience
• Deep web architecture knowledge for modular, scalable systems in large codebases
• Experience with distributed systems handling high traffic or real-time data
• Proven mentorship skills and execution mindset in ambiguous environments
