What you will do

• Manage the monthly preparation of Distribution payrolls, ensuring full accuracy and compliance.
• Collate, verify, and enter payroll data while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Perform pay-element variance reconciliations and support month-on-month reporting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related enquiries from employees and HR.
• Develop, document, and implement efficient and compliant payroll procedures.
• Maintain strict adherence to financial controls and internal policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Payroll Assistant.
• Solid understanding of payroll processes, including statutory payments and pension rules.
• Proficiency in Excel, specifically pivot tables, subtotals, text-to-columns, and VLOOKUPs.
• High level of numeracy and strong attention to detail.
• Must be available to start the role immediately.
