What you will do

• Manage month-end and BAU stock processes to ensure accurate valuation across the business.
• Enforce internal controls to safeguard stock while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with commercial and operational teams at Head Office, Distribution Centres, and Stores.
• Support the Stock Accountant with provisioning, adjustments, and alignment with group accounting policies.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations with detailed commentary.
• Contribute to internal and external audit requirements and group submissions.

Requirements

• Accounting qualification or currently working towards one.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing large volumes of data efficiently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively under pressure.
• Experience in a stock environment or stock reporting is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Availability to work in a hybrid capacity in Yeovil, UK

Nice to have

• Experience working with CODA GL and Oracle BI.
