What you will do

• Develop and maintain comprehensive configuration management (CM) plans, processes, and procedures aligned with industry standards.
• Manage engineering change requests (ECRs), change notices (CNs), and product baselines for accuracy and traceability.
• Assess and improve Engineering Tools (ET) and Change Notice processes to enhance system efficiency.
• Establish and enforce version control protocols and configuration status accounting practices.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements, designs, and changes across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, and program management teams to maintain configuration integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in configuration management within commercial or industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of CM standards such as ISO 10007 and/or EIA-649.
• Proficiency in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), PDM (Product Data Management), and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
• Must be based in the United States.
