What you will do

• Manage CAD libraries, including the development of standardized symbols, design blocks, templates, and drawing tools.
• Create, document, and enforce IEM-wide CAD standards to unify best practices across all locations.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to maintain standard layouts for repeatable products and wiring diagrams.
• Drive innovation in CAD workflows to reduce design time, minimize errors, and improve manufacturing readiness.
• Develop and maintain AutoLISP routines and physical component layout drawings.
• Establish training programs and provide guidance to engineers and CAD users on tools and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CAD management or library development within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD and/or DraftSight, including advanced Dynamic block creation and attribute management.
• Proven experience implementing and managing CAD standards across multiple teams and locations.
• Must be based in or able to work in Jacksonville, Florida, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Experience using SharePoint for document and AutoCAD file management.
• Familiarity with process documentation and training program development.
