Global Communications Specialist (AIR)

TL;DR

Global Communications Specialist (AIR): Partnering day-to-day with AIR Franchise cross-functional teams to deliver internal and external global communications with an accent on content development, channel management, and alignment processes. Focus on drafting updates, press releases, social media content, congress communications, and ensuring consistent messaging across Global and Affiliates.

Location: Open at European level, with preference for candidates in the UK or Italy where the team is based. If based in Italy, presence of 2/3 days per week in Parma office required.

What you will do

• Maintain alignment with AIR teams for timely communication of news and milestones.
• Draft, edit, and publish internal updates, manage intranet pages, and support internal social media.
• Draft and coordinate external press releases, articles, and congress communications including media pitches and social activities.
• Prepare social media content for corporate channels, ensure compliance, and support reputation management.
• Coordinate review processes, work with affiliates for localization, and manage external support.

Requirements

• Native or proficient in English (Italian as a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in science with Communications specialization or Communications/Social/Political Sciences/Economics with healthcare focus.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Healthcare Communications/Marketing in agency or multinational pharma.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, stakeholder management, attention to detail, and ability to deliver under time pressure.
• Comfort with coordinating multiple channels and end-to-end content delivery.
