TL;DR

PR Executive: Supporting press office and delivering PR campaigns for a retail brand with an accent on writing press releases, media relations, and campaign execution. Focus on building journalist relationships, securing coverage, analysing performance, and managing communications.

Location: Hybrid in Yeovil, UK (Trade House, Mead Avenue, Houndstone Business Park, Yeovil, BA22 8RT) with up to 2 days working from home

What you will do

  • Develop, deliver, and report on PR campaigns across business initiatives.
  • Write engaging press releases and copy for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute campaigns and store openings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists to secure media coverage.
  • Analyse campaign performance and share insights with teams.
  • Manage media centre, support internal/external communications, and handle crisis situations.

Requirements

  • Background in journalism or external communications.
  • Strong writing skills with creativity.
  • Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Confident communication across channels.
  • Highly organised with multi-priority management.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress.
  • Exposure to marketing, campaigns, or events.
