Management Accountant

TL;DR

Management Accountant (FP&A): Support production of high-quality financial insights including month-end reporting, management accounts, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting with an accent on financial commentary and trend analysis. Focus on collaborating with operational teams, explaining performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving process improvements.

Location: Hybrid working, 2 days per week in Bradford office

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

What you will do

• Assist with month-end reporting and prepare management accounts with variance analysis
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Produce financial commentary for senior stakeholders
• Work with operational and commercial teams to explain performance
• Analyse trends, risks, and opportunities to support decision-making
• Drive process improvements and reporting enhancements

Requirements

• Part-qualified ACCA / CIMA
• Experience in month-end or management accounting
• Confident working with Excel and large data sets
• Comfortable liaising with non-finance stakeholders
• Eager to learn, proactive, and commercially minded
