What you will do

• Design low and medium voltage power systems, creating detailed drawing packages and bills of materials for highly customized equipment.
• Lead coordination with mechanical designers to develop optimized layouts for complex switchgear and switchboard designs.
• Perform design, troubleshooting, and commissioning functions for assigned projects to ensure system functionality.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact during manufacturing and testing phases, resolving inquiries in real-time.
• Author sequence of operation documents and verify that system operation aligns with the design intent.
• Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical guidance to promote team growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Fremont, California.
• Availability for short field assignments (typically less than 5 days, not exceeding 15% of total time).
