Credit Controller

TL;DR

Credit Controller: Manage credit control function for all customer accounts, process sales updates, invoices, credit notes, and bank reconciliations with an accent on accounts receivable processes and compliance. Focus on running credit control meetings, reconciling ledgers, preparing cash receipts, and liaising with auditors and customer service.

Location: Hybrid (two days from home) in Leamington Spa / Warwick area. You MUST have full and indefinite rights to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Handle credit control for all customer accounts, including invoice and credit note processing.
• Perform bank reconciliations, cash receipts matching, and sales ledger control account reconciliations.
• Run monthly credit control meetings and maintain AR order hold and compliance processes.
• Prepare credit note spreadsheets for month-end close and process recharge invoices.
• Liaise with auditors, customer service, and the business on accounts receivable tasks.
• Cover for purchase ledger and assist finance manager with ad-hoc tasks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of previous experience in a similar role.
• Full and indefinite rights to work in the UK.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, credit control, and transactional finance.
• Analytical approach with strong attention to detail.
• CICM or AAT qualification (bonus, not essential).
