What you will do

• Review, process, and respond to correspondence from payers, patients, and internal departments on billing, claims, and payments.
• Route correspondence to appropriate teams, document actions in RCM systems like Smartsheet, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Analyze trends in correspondence, escalate issues, and communicate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance, assist with denied claims appeals, and monitor unresolved items within timelines.
• Support process improvements for correspondence workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, medical billing, or insurance correspondence.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, billing codes, and payer requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare billing software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environment.
