DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Germany, with remote work from Germany and at least one year of onsite work in Germany required. Offices are listed in Berlin and Stuttgart.

What you will do

• Design and operate scalable cloud infrastructures and platform setups.
• Automate deployments, environments, and operational processes.
• Build reliable foundations for fast, stable, and traceable releases.
• Integrate security into development and operations, including infrastructure, access, secrets, and data flows.
• Ensure system observability, availability, resilience, monitoring, logging, and incident response.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and product teams across internal platforms and client projects.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Operations.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, cloud architectures, container technologies, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of security principles, IAM, secrets management, distributed systems security, vulnerability scanning, and policy enforcement.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, incident handling, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Fluent German and/or English at C1+ level, a German work permit, and at least one year of onsite work in Germany are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, or Cloud Run.
• Experience with AI or data platforms and production AI systems.
• Understanding of FinOps and cost-aware infrastructure.
