DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer

What you will do

• Design and operate scalable cloud infrastructures and platform setups
• Automate deployments, environments, and operational processes
• Integrate security early into development and operations
• Define and enforce standards for infrastructure, access, secrets, and data flows
• Ensure observability, availability, and resilience of systems
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and product teams to bring structure to complex environments

Requirements

• Several years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Operations
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud architectures
• Experience with container technologies and automated deployment pipelines
• Solid understanding of security principles, IAM, secrets management, and distributed systems security
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, incident handling, and troubleshooting
• Fluent in German and/or English (B2–C1)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with tools like Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
• Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, or Cloud Run
• Exposure to security automation, policy enforcement, or vulnerability scanning
• Experience with AI/data platforms or production AI systems
• Understanding of FinOps and cost-aware infrastructure
