DevOps Engineer (Germany)

Location: Germany. Remote, office-based, and hybrid work formats are available.

Salary: €5,100–€7,700 gross per month, depending on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Set up the contractor’s development environment for the start of the service phase.
• Configure monitoring and logging, including biweekly evaluation of application logs for security events.
• Support platform and system updates on client servers through a VPN connection.
• Prepare installation packages and step-by-step installation guides for client-side deployment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Experience configuring and managing Nginx, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting, plus scripting skills in Shell/Bash and Python.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher and Upper-Intermediate German or higher.

Nice to have

• Windows Server administration experience.
• Experience administering Apache Tomcat and Keycloak.
• Experience deploying and maintaining on-premises ticketing systems such as Jira Data Center, Redmine, or GitLab.
